Talon Recruiting has partnered with a leading heavy equipment dealership. Together, we are searching for a Sales/Rental Coordinator to join their team in Vars, ON.
Your responsibilities:
Reporting to the Branch and Sales Manager, the primary function will be to oversee the entire sales/rental file from start to finish, including, but not limited to:
- Collecting all necessary data to complete the credit application and the sale/rental file (passthrough letters, signed contracts, insurance, void cheque, driver license etc.);
- Preparing all sales/rental agreements for your assigned sales reps;
- Preparing rental calculation applicable to purchases;
- Quoting nonstock attachment, relating to the sales file;
- Purchasing nonstock attachment, relating to the sales file;
- Issuing purchase orders for subcontractors, relating to the sales file;
- Collecting payments (current, outstanding, and/or past due) for customer accounts regarding the sales/rental files;
- Validate that the unit configuration matches the sales agreement;
- Issuing work orders to the service department for the preparation of sale/rental units;
- Processing all finance contracts, relating to the sales file;
- Preparing the Quebec licensing documents required for Quebec plating (PV);
- Instructing dispatch once units are ready to be delivered, picked up, transferred, etc.;
- Validation that rental’s and/or trade-in units are returned with all attachments, options and are in good working order;
- Revision of the sale/rental file prior to invoicing;
- Invoicing of the sale/rental file for your assigned sales rep;
- Labeling and filing of all sales/rental files in appropriate filling cabinets;
- Be the main point of contact for the customer, once the sale/rental has been finalized by your assigned sales rep;
- Requesting quotation/purchasing extended warranties, as well as entering data in the system;
- Preparing cash slips (This item will be eliminated, once a new procedure has been established);
- Preparing the sales/rental commissions for your assigned sales rep;
- Performing any other functions involving machine sales and/or rental for your assigned sales rep.
APPLICANTS SHOULD FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE
- Have a College Diploma in business administration, finance or any related experience in the field of customer service or heavy machinery (any experience or training related will be considered);
- Good organizational and time management skills;
- Concern of the detail, autonomous and management of the priorities;
- Versatile, responsible and possessing good team spirit;
- Positive and professional attitude;
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office program (Excel, Word);
- Bilingual: spoken and written (English and French).
