Talon Recruiting has partnered with a growing heavy equipment brokerage company. Together we are in search of a Heavy Equipment & Parts Broker/Wholesaler to join their growing team.
Overview & Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking dynamic senior sales professionals with experience in buying and selling all types of heavy equipment and parts. Candidates should be highly motivated to grow their business and have an established reputation in the industry; operating with the highest integrity. We are seeking seasoned professionals with industry knowledge and mature customer and supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop long-term business relationships, manage accounts, prospect, generate new business and negotiate potential transactions
- Identify and develop new trading opportunities and supply sources
- Monitor market trends to capitalize on trading opportunities
- Proactively sourcing new business opportunities with customer and supplier base
- Retention of existing customer base with continued sales growth
- Sources and grow sales with new business opportunities
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales solutions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and current customers and suppliers to enhance the potential to sell, rent, and lease new and used equipment, parts and service to increase loyalty, market awareness, and increase market share.
Requirements:
- Proof of a successful and profitable track record of buying and selling used machinery
- Strong industry knowledge and reputation
- 5-10+ years’ of industry experience
- Excellent communication skills and great customer service
This is a full-time position with compensation based on experience. We believe in paying our people for performance. The position will start off salary but in a short-time will be based upon a commission system that compensates traders for performance on the specific orders in which the trader actively participates as buyer or seller during their employment with the company. Trader commission is calculated using established percentage formulas. We negotiate a fair salary to bridge this period and have a complete benefit package, including health, life, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.
