Talon Recruiting has partnered with a National Heavy Equipment company. We are in search of a Shop Welder to join their team in Lansing, MI

Job Responsibilities:
Working in accordance with approved welding procedure data sheets (WPDS) on the shop floor
Read drawings and engineering details
TIG welding stainless steel piping
Production welding, service & repair welding and prototype building
Adhere to all safety policies and the use of all safe work practise

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Four (4) plus years in the welding industry
Excellent safety record
Proficient in TIG welding stainless steel piping
Have a sound understanding of welding procedures and welding data procedures
Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks quickly
The ability to work in a team or independently as required
Possesses intermediate computer skills, specifically with MS Office
Possesses the ability to interpret engineering specifications an asset

Compensation & Benefits:
• $32 /hour based on experience plus overtime
